Blow and Go Show (no fitting necessary) at Golden Spike Arena; park in Barn A and prep animals at trailer. Open to Weber County 4-H and FFA youth (animals shown must be tagged in by Weber Jr. Livestock). Register at https://4h.zsuite.org/external-event-registration/47222 by June 21st. $25 per exhibitor ($10 for Peewee) and optional $15 shirt. *Adult Showmanship Showdown for adults ages 18+ who are not eligible as a Weber Jr. Livestock showman. $10 cash only to show or nominate (with permission) and $10 to opt out; banter can continue until it's show time! Show will start directly after the youth show is complete. This is a judged show with prizes awarded; have fun and show the kids how it's done! 🐑🐐🐄🐖🍀

Join Weber County 4-H on June 20 at East Canyon State Park for Skyward: Recalibrating Life Under the Stars 🌌

Skyward is a nature-based overnight experience focused on teen wellness, connection, reflection, and discovering wonder under the night sky. Youth will participate in guided activities, outdoor experiences, and meaningful opportunities to connect with nature and each other.

The FCS & Career Readiness State Contests registration is NOW OPEN on ZSuite at https://4h.zsuite.org/event-registrations/48520

Utah 4-H Family & Consumer Sciences (FCS), World of Work, and Public Speaking state contests—held during the annual 4-H Classic at Utah State University—give high school youth the chance to apply real-world knowledge and showcase communication, career, and life skills in a competitive setting.

FCS contests emphasize practical life skills such as nutrition, food preparation, clothing and textiles, financial literacy, and family life through events like Favorite Foods, Fashion Review, FCS Bowl, presentations, and skill-a-thon.

The World of Work contest focuses on career readiness, with youth demonstrating employability skills like interviewing, resume development, and professional communication.

Public Speaking contests—including prepared speech and impromptu speaking —help participants build confidence, organization, and persuasive communication skills. Together, these contests promote leadership, critical thinking, and workforce preparedness, with top participants often advancing to national-level opportunities.
