Asking directly does not put the idea of su***de in someone’s head, it opens the door for honest communication. Don’t be afraid to ask about thoughts of su***de directly to loved ones and friends you’re worried about.

Su***de is a leading cause of death among young Utahns, ages 10-17, and the state has spent years trying to figure out why teens choose to end their lives.

Utah Department of Health and Human Services released a deep study of youth su***des.

The goal is to pair data with the stories of those lost to su***de in hopes of crafting prevention that works, including recommendations.
