🍬🦁 SWEET CANDY DAY WEEKEND! 🦁🍬

Thanks to the incredible generosity of Ogden Dunes, we raised over $3,000 — a new Candy Day town record! 🎉

We launched Venmo, had volunteers from a few 80+ to a spry 92 years young, and received generous gifts from our “Lion Cubs” ( don’t worry Sox fans 🙂 ) — “the children of Lions “— including donations from more than 2,000 miles away in Washington State!

We’ll also be working with Lions Gerry, Trish and Eric, from our Volunteer Fire Department, to determine how we can dedicate some funds to support their service to our community. A special thank-you to them — and to all those who are both Lions and volunteer firefighters. Your commitment to serving Ogden Dunes is truly inspiring.

We are grateful, humbled, and incredibly proud of our community.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Thanks for your feedback! We know many people don’t carry cash these days, so we’ve attached our Venmo code for anyone who’d like to make a contribution.

We’ll be out handing out mints this afternoon and tomorrow morning. We’d still love the chance to meet, greet, and be part of the community.

If you’re out of town—or simply cash-free—please consider using Venmo. It’s a little sweeter than carrying change!

Thanks for supporting the Ogden Dunes Lions Club.
