More than 180 students from kindergarten through 6th grade participated, each sharing their unique view of what makes our community special.

Winners of the art contest will be announced on Saturday, April 25th, during the County Government Day Celebration at the NACO West Training Center. Winners will receive monetary prizes and be featured on postcards in celebration of County

We’re looking for local voices to help bring an important story to life!

Ogallala’s Western Trails Creative District is launching a Veterans Art Project to honor past and current military members from our community. As part of this effort, we’re inviting veterans, active service members, and family members of veterans to share their experiences through a short interview.

These conversations will help shape the vision for this meaningful community art project—one that reflects the real stories of those who have served from right here in Ogallala.

Whether your story speaks to service, sacrifice, transition, or life beyond the uniform, your voice matters and deserves to be heard. Interviews will be informal and scheduled at your convenience on May 1st, 2nd or 3rd.

If you or someone you know would like to participate, please message us or contact Molly Jeffres at 308-284-6623 or [email protected].

Please help us ensure this project truly represents the voices of our community!
