WE WON!!! 🧡🏆

Last night, the 𝟰𝟮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗹 Ogallala Indian Summer Rendezvous was named the 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 by the 𝗡𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘀𝗸𝗮 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 at its Fall Conference!

Our Tourism Director and Rendezvous Committee Chair, Shawn Rubek, accepted the award on behalf of the countless people whose hard work, heart, and commitment have sustained and grown this community tradition for 42 years. He was joined by Membership Director Dawn Haney, Chamber Board Member and Rendezvous Committee member Kerri Schroeder, and Chamber Board Member Brandon Lichti.

This award belongs to our entire Rendezvous Committee, our volunteers, sponsors, community partners, vendors, entertainers, and every person who showed up, pitched in, and helped bring the 2026 Rendezvous to life.

We are especially grateful to the 𝗪𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁, whose support made the Rising Buffalo Dance Group's educational and public performances possible—one of the unforgettable highlights of this year’s Rendezvous.

We are honestly overwhelmed with joy, deeply grateful, and incredibly proud to share this honor with the community that helped make it possible!

Today, we celebrate the 42nd Annual Ogallala Indian Summer Rendezvous—and every person who helped bring it to life! 🎉

📍 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗠𝗕𝗘𝗥 𝗔𝗧 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗞!
We're spending a few days at the Nebraska Chamber of Commerce & Industry Fall Conference, connecting with Chamber professionals from across the state, sharing ideas, learning new strategies, and bringing home fresh inspiration for Keith County!

One of the best things about being part of a statewide network is realizing just how much we can learn from one another. Different communities, different challenges, but a shared passion for helping local businesses and communities thrive! ❤️

We're excited to take what we learn and put those ideas to work for our members right here at home.

Because when your Chamber grows, the opportunities to better serve our business community grow right along with it!

We LOVE seeing our Chamber members making the most of their membership! ❤️

Today we're giving a little extra love to Saint Luke's Catholic School! 📚

Recently, we had the opportunity to connect with the St. Luke's team and explore some of the ways the Chamber can help share their activities, events, and good things happening at their school.

And they're already putting those resources to work! 🙌

St. Luke's has started utilizing the Chamber's Info Hub to share events through our Community Calendar, helping more people discover what's happening right here in Keith County.

Their Book Fair, happening October 12–15, is a great example!

The Keith County Chamber of Commerce has three Board of Directors positions open for the 2027–2029 term—and we’re looking for Chamber members who care about strengthening local businesses, building connections, and helping guide what comes next.

Board members serve a three-year term and have an opportunity to help shape Chamber priorities, support community initiatives, and represent the voices of our members.

Interested individuals must represent a current KCCC member in good standing. New directors will be elected by the Chamber membership.

Tuesday evening, we had the pleasure of welcoming the Nebraska Chamber of Commerce & Industry to Ogallala for a stop on their statewide Road Show!

It was an evening filled with valuable information, thoughtful discussion, and opportunities to connect on issues that directly impact our businesses, workforce, and communities.

Some of the important topics discussed included:
🏡 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗲 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 & 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲: Addressing two significant challenges affecting Nebraska's ability to attract and retain workers.

🏛️ 𝗟𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘀𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗨𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀: A look at recent legislation affecting Nebraska businesses, workforce development, and economic growth.

📈 𝗚𝗼 𝗕𝗶𝗴 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲: Exploring ways to strengthen Nebraska's economic future through business modernization, site and building readiness, and more predictable development processes.
