📣 Did you know the Nebraska CASA State Conference isn't just for CASA volunteers?

Anyone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children is welcome to attend! Whether you're a volunteer, foster parent, educator, counselor, attorney, social worker, community partner, or simply want to learn more about child advocacy, there's something for you.

This year's theme, 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗢𝗡𝗘 𝗩𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲, reminds us that one caring voice can change a child's story.

Nebraska is taking an important step toward helping children and families get the right support at the right time. 💙

Nebraska DHHS has been selected for a federal grant that will explore how data can help:

*Identify risks and family needs earlier
*Connect families with preventive services
*Safely prevent unnecessary foster care placements
*Give child welfare professionals better information for decision-making
*Help children reach safe, permanent homes sooner

At CASA, we know that behind every piece of data is a child with a story, a family, and a future. We are encouraged by efforts that help Nebraska make more informed decisions while keeping child safety, well-being, permanency, transparency, and accountability at the center.

Because every child deserves the opportunity to be safe, supported, and in a permanent home. 💙
