Offutt Advisory Council Formed in 1992, the OAC strengthens the bond between the community and Offutt Air Force Base.

We support the mission and personnel of OAFB by promoting education, morale, and welfare initiatives that benefit both the base and community.

Bellevue Rocks Military Appreciation Night

Military Families,

The Offutt Advisory Council, in conjunction with the Bellevue Community Foundation, is pleased to announce that FREE unlimited ride wristbands are available for the Bellevue Rocks Military Appreciation Night on Thursday, June 4, 2026 at American Heroes Park.

Admission to the event is FREE, and all school-aged children connected with Team Offutt are eligible to receive a wristband.

Tickets for the wristbands will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis beginning Monday May 18th at the MWR Front Office (located on Offutt Air Force Base).

We hope your family will join us for an evening of fun, community, and celebration!

We had a great turnout at the OAC Annual Meeting. Colonel Gray and MCSgt Smalls briefed us OAFB efforts and also shared some of the activities that our donations are used for. The meeting ended with MCSgt Smalls accepting $100k check from Board President Tim Burke and Board Member Rusty Hike. The relationship between OAC and OAFB has been built over years of working together and has grown to a one of a kind partnership!!

Want to get involved?

Volunteers needed for Offutt Appreciation Picnic. The Offutt Appreciation Picnic will take place on Thursday, May 28, at the Bellevue Berry Farm. If you are interested in volunteering for the picnic please email Susan Colvin at [email protected] with the following information: Name, (men’s) shirt size, and preferred shift (7-9:30 a.m.; 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.; noon-3:00 p.m.; or all day).

Volunteers also needed for beer tent/ID table at the Offutt Appreciation Picnic on May 28… openings still available are: 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.; 12:30-2:30 p.m.; and 2:30-4:00 p.m. If you are interested in volunteering for the beer tent or the ID table, contact Gil Cohen at [email protected].

OAC General Membership Meeting: just a reminder that the OAC General Membership meeting will be held Friday, May 8, 4 p.m. at the Dougherty Conference Center on base. There will be a reception immediately following. If you are a co-commander, please reach out to your military commander and invite him/her to attend. The Offutt Advisory Council is rallying community support for the 2026 Offutt AFB Appreciation Day Picnic on May 28, 2026, at Bellevue Berry Farm.

This special event is dedicated to celebrating the service members, civilian personnel, and families of Offutt Air Force Base with a day focused on gratitude, community, and fun.

Businesses, organizations, and individuals are encouraged to get involved by becoming sponsors, volunteering, or donating door prizes. Sponsorship opportunities are available and every dollar helps create a memorable day for those who serve out country.
