I want to thank all of the members from Zion Lutheran Oelwein, Sacred Heart, Christ Presbyterian, 1st Baptist Church, and Grace Methodist Church for the wonderful donation made for the Souper Bowl of Caring.

Next Sunday is Super Bowl Sunday with the Seahawks and Patriots playing for championship. But it's also a very important day. All over the United States churches will be collecting for hunger in their communities. The Council of Churches in Oelwein will be doing the same. We call it Souper Bowl Sunday. There is a need in Oelwein and we are asking everyone to think about what you want to donate for this cause. If you want to drop off a donation at the Cupboard we are open Tuesday morning from 9:00 - noon and Friday afternoon from1:00 - 4:00. Thank you and God Bless you 🙏 ❤️

I want to thank our anonymous donor for the $3500.00 so we could do 35 Christmas boxes for our clients. Also to all my volunteers that helped making up the boxes. Jim and Connie, Carol, Rosetta, Al and Jean, Sandy. Thank you for all your help!!! Merry Christmas 🎅 🎄 ❤️

The Kitchen Cupboard would like to thank all our Grinches this year for raising $23,985.00 for us to purchase food for our clients. Thank you Brett Ehlers, Karlee Kae DC , Ann Eike, Pete Peterson and Brandy Hershey. Thank you again for helping those in need in our community. You are the best!!!!
