June 2026 Food Distribution Calendar

Extra volunteer hrs available June and July- Each Wednesday Noon-2 or 3pm

Note: the pantry; Messengers Of Hope Mission at Emmanuel Baptist Church (1st & 3rd Saturday) is on hold while the church undergoes renovations and repairs. We hope to have this one open again soon.

Also: YES! We are open on Father's Day.

Messengers Of Hope Missionwants to give a Thank you and a shout out to the students, staff and faculty of Bishop Larkin Catholic School for collecting about 4,000 lbs of shelf stable foods for those in need. This is the fourth year in a row they have stepped up and done this amazing and loving project! Thank you all!

Often, people say things like, “I wish my business could operate like a nonprofit I could save so much money.” The truth is, while nonprofits may have some cost advantages, operating one still comes with significant expenses.

Today alone, we paid over $100 in registration fees for our four vehicles and more than $400 just to fill the fuel tanks and that fuel cost is a weekly expense.

Unlike a traditional business, we can’t simply raise prices or cut hours when costs increase. We continue serving our community at the same level whether expenses are high or low.
