📚 HAPPENING WEDNESDAY! Our district's tradition of Words on Wheels Wednesdays continues this summer — our Bookmobile will stop at three locations around our district! Find your perfect summer read or build your personal library by visiting our Bookmobile and its collection of free, gently used books. Donations are always appreciated, so feel free to bring your books to add to our collection. Bookmobile is organized and run by our amazing librarians — thank you to our staff for spearheading this effort!

📍Crystal Run Elementary School — 11-11:30 a.m.
📍Louis L. Redding Middle School — 12-12:30 p.m.
📍Townsend Elementary School — 1-1:30 p.m.

Today, we honor Juneteenth—a celebration of freedom, resilience, hope, and the enduring strength of our community. As we reflect on the sacrifices of those who came before us, we also celebrate the progress we've made while remaining committed to the work that still lies ahead.

Sisterhood is one of our greatest strengths. Together, we uplift, encourage, and empower one another through service, leadership, and love. United in purpose, we continue to make a positive impact in our communities while honoring the legacy of those who paved the way.

Gamma Alpha Rho Zeta proudly celebrates Juneteenth by embracing the values of unity, freedom, and sisterhood. May we continue to stand together, serve together, and grow together.

Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated honors Juneteenth, also known as Freedom Day, as an historic moment in American history. On June 19, 1865, news of the Emancipation Proclamation finally reached the last enslaved individuals in Galveston, Texas, marking the true beginning of freedom for all.

We proudly recognize the efforts of our own trailblazing Soror, Opal Lee, the “Grandmother of Juneteenth,” whose unwavering advocacy helped make Juneteenth a federally recognized holiday in 2021.

Today, we celebrate emancipation, reflect on our ancestors’ strength and resilience, and recommit to the work of advancing justice, equity, and unity. Through education, action, and solidarity, we move closer to a world rooted in true freedom for all.

Today, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated stands with the warriors, families and caregivers impacted by sickle cell disease❤️

On World Sickle Cell Awareness Day, we raise awareness, advocate for equitable care and honor the strength of those living with this inherited blood disorder.

Hope is growing as new advancements in gene therapy are creating potentially curative treatment options for eligible patients, bringing us closer to a future without sickle cell disease.

This Men's Health Awareness Month, Gamma Alpha Rho Zeta proudly stands in support of the health and well-being of the men in our families, communities, and beyond.

We encourage men to take charge of their health by scheduling regular checkups, staying physically active, prioritizing mental wellness, eating healthy, and having open conversations about health concerns. Prevention, early detection, and education can save lives.

Together, let's raise awareness, inspire healthy lifestyles, and remind the men in our lives that their health matters.

Elder abuse awareness is everyone's responsibility. Every older adult deserves to be treated with dignity, respect, and compassion.
The ladies of Gamma Alpha Rho Zeta are proud to sponsor monthly activities at Cadia Rehabilitation Broadmeadow. Through fellowship, engagement, and community service, we are committed to enriching the lives of residents while promoting awareness and advocacy for the well-being of our seniors.

Gamma Alpha Rho Zeta Works Hard and Plays Hard! 🏹

At Gamma Alpha Rho Zeta, we believe in balancing dedicated service with meaningful fellowship. After working hard to serve our community, we took time to strengthen our sisterhood and enjoy some friendly competition at an archery event!

Laughter, encouragement, and a little healthy rivalry made for a memorable day as we aimed for the bullseye and created lasting memories together. Experiences like these remind us that our bond extends beyond our service projects—we are sisters united by purpose, friendship, and fun.

Many thanks to everyone who supported the Spring 2026 Period Project. 160 packages of feminine hygiene products were donated which means 1000s of individual items will be given to those in need.
