All of the Cub Scout training modules have been updated to ensure they reflect the newly updated program. The online, position-specific training with the most significant updates include:

-Den Leader/Assistant Den Leader
-Cubmaster/Assistant Cubmaster
-Pack Committee Chair
-Pack Committee Members

If you hold one of these positions and it’s been a while since you reviewed the online training, it might be a good idea to retake the entire training. However, if you’re short on time and are looking to get up to speed right away, there are certain modules you can take first.

The Boy Scouts of America today announced that it will rebrand to Scouting America, reflecting the organization’s ongoing commitment to welcome every youth and family in America to experience the benefits of Scouting. The change will go into effect on February 8, 2025, the organization’s 115th anniversary.

NEW CUB SCOUT PROGRAM UPDATE - WEBELOS AND ARROW OF LIGHT UNIFORM CHANGES!
As of June 1st the Webelos and Arrow of Lights are being separated. The Webelos (4th grade) will remain in the blue uniform with the Webelos plaid neckerchief and cap. The Arrow of Lights are preparing to move up to the Troop, so they wear the Scouts BSA uniform with the tan shirt and green bottoms. They can wear the green BSA cap and pick what color BSA neckerchief they wear. They should also pick a patrol name and patch.
