Out in West Texas An education and advocacy organization for the transgender and gender non-conforming community.

Out in West Texas seeks to support transgender community members in the Permian Basin by fostering the growth of professionals trained in transgender medical, legal, and mental health competencies as well as transgender cultural competencies. Currently, these needs are served ineffectually, if at all, in our region, with the burden of locating necessary professional resources falling on transgende

r individuals and families of transgender individuals, who may not have the financial means or necessary training to accomplish this effectively. Pride Center West Texas, 501(c)(3), serves as the fiscal agent and parent organization of Out in West Texas.
