June 8th meeting will be starting at 9am till 3pm at Highland Methodist Church. Our project for the meeting is Henrietta Turtle pin cushion. Supplies needed include: 22" x5" fabric for body,2a" x 6" for belly,13" x5" for shell.13"x5" shell lining22" x5"or 11" x10' of light weight fusible woven interfacing. Wool blend or felt scraps for leaves & flowers, embroidery thread & small buttons, stuffing material and thread, (will need a stuffing fork or stick) iron, hand sewing needles, small sharp scissors, seam ripper. Several of us have the pattern and you can trace off if needed so bring paper for that if needed. BROWN BAG LUNCH, come visit us to see if you are interested in our projects,

May meeting will be on Monday May 12th at Highland Methodist Church from 9am till 3pm. The newsletter had incorrect date of May 14th a Thursday. Brown Bag Lunch. Project will be String Quilt on Muslin. Bring your scraps and muslin cut into 12- or 15-inch squares. Diane Fayo is instructor for this class. You will need muslin, scraps cut in strips, sewing machine, extension cord, and your normal sewing supplies. The June program will be the "Henrietta Turtle Pin Cushion" taught by Donna Stripling. March meeting is Monday March 9th starting at 9am to 3pm. Highland Methodist Church. Brown Bag Lunch. Project is Demin Dog lead by Faye Cox. Supplies needed. medium wight denim fabric(2pieces 12 X8. 1 patch 4x3, 1 piece 2.4" x2", any extra you might think you need including black buttons for eyes. Faye will bring patterns. Need sewing machine, fusible interfacing,iron & small ironing mat.

MONDAY NOVEMBER 10TH IS OUR THANKSGIVING MEETING. MEMBERS ARE GATHERING FROM 9AM TILL 3PM at our usual place Highland Methodist Church. Our celebration of thanksgiving is a group project with members bringing special holiday foods. The Guild is furnishing the turkey.
