GFWC Florida proudly sent 131 incredible female veterans to Washington DC on their Flight of Honor. These brave women served our country with strength, courage, and sacrifice, and it was a truly unforgettable moment for our club members to be there to thank them for their service and welcome them home with the appreciation they deserve.

Moments like this remind us how important it is to honor those who serve and have served to protect our freedom. We are beyond grateful for these amazing women and the legacy they represent.

Our club recently tackled our 1.1-mile stretch along the Wesley Chapel District Park sports fields to keep our roads clean and beautiful! Club members and boosters joined in to pick up trash, share some laughs, and spend quality time together. Along the way, we discovered some of the weirdest things—and even a few little “treasures” hidden in the grass! Thanks to everyone who lent a helping hand. Several large bags of trash were collected and properly disposed of through Pasco County.

It’s amazing what we can do when we work together to care for our community and environment!

Accompanied by a special guest - Cara's grand dog - we wrapped up the final road clean-up of 2025! We hauled in six full bags of trash! Hard to believe how fast it piles up in just three months....apparently much faster than some people can hang on to their car accessories. Our "treasure of the day" was discovered by Liz, who found a BMW emblem - so if anyone's missing one, it's living its best new life now. A huge thank you to Nancy P, Roberta, Nancy S, Tracy, Pat, Liz, and Cara for your hard work and enthusiasm. Great job, Ladies!

In the spirit shared by GFWC clubs everywhere, our club proudly provided 12 complete Thanksgiving meals and extra food staples, reaching out to support those in our community who need a hand up.
