Impact looks like leadership, mentorship, and creating space for the next generation to grow.

🎶 Virgil Boysaw III was awarded a $1,500 grant to support his youth music program, the Excel Academy Legacy Band, a program dedicated to developing young musicians and giving them the tools, guidance, and confidence to thrive through music.

Through his leadership, students are not only learning how to play, they are learning discipline, teamwork, and how to express themselves through the arts.

This is more than a program. It’s a pipeline of opportunity, mentorship, and legacy.

We are proud to support the work Virgil is doing in the community and the lives he continues to impact through music.

There is something special about watching a young creative step fully into her passion.

McKinley Gray, a junior at Annapolis High School in Maryland, was awarded a $1,400 grant to support her enrollment in the Mount Sinclair Acting Program—a pre-college experience designed to give high school students a real introduction to college life within the acting and arts community.

McKinley has been dedicated to her craft for eight years, consistently training and taking acting classes to sharpen her skills. Now, she’s preparing to take that next step, bringing everything she’s learned into a real-world setting where her talent can continue to grow.

Her excitement, discipline, and commitment to the arts are exactly why this work matters.

We are proud to support her journey and can’t wait to see where her talent takes her next!
