It's getting hotter and hotter. The July 2nd Independence day Market will be held in the evening from 4pm to 8pm with a movie following.

One week away from the OEA'S first annual Fiesta de Mayo Celebration at the Odem City Park. We have a great lineup of entertainment for the weekend and lots of food, shopping, kids games, corn hole tournament and bean Cookoff. Don't forget to get your tickets early. $15 pre-sale includes both days and parking fee.

A lot of additions to Fiesta de Mayo.

The Odem Fire Department will host a Bean Cookoff Saturday admission will need to be in by 3pm winners will be announced at 6pm.

The Lions Club will host a Corn Hole Tournament registration will start Saturday at 10am Tournament starts at 12pm.

Friday entertainment provided by Odem's own Michael Presas, The Bay Drinkers and Robert Ray.

Saturday entertainment provided by Liz Garcia, La Union Colombiana, The South TX Homies, and Marcos Orozco.
