Hi everyone, here are this year’s parade pictures! The parade committee wants to thank everyone who participated—what an amazing turnout with 26 entries. Several people shared that they enjoyed the parade and were happy it lasted longer. We’re aiming to make it even bigger next year and would love for Oconto’s businesses to join in honoring our fallen soldiers who gave everything for us. If anyone in the community would like to take part, please contact City Hall, Mayor Clift Marton, or Carl Plaster. We love seeing everyone in the community get involved—let’s work together to make the Oconto Memorial Day Parade even bigger and better!

Come have fun and honor our fallen soldiers and help support the OCVM to build and to honor our veterans living and passed their names go on the wall for free and so they will never be forgotten. Free to enter and donate if you like, this is fun for everyone.

ON Memorial Day come and enjoy the food, entertainment, face painting and the kids have kid's games the games are 25 cents to play and to have fun with and win a prize to take home all children are winners. We have great entertainment basket raffle, wheel spin to win prizes and 50/50 and just come to relax and Hornor our fallen soldiers for all they gave for us to live free.

Join The City of Oconto and OVCM for the Memorial Day Parade, help honor our fallen heroes by participating in this year's Memorial Day Parade. This event is a wonderful opportunity for citizens and businesses to come together, show their respect, and celebrate the sacrifices made by our military personnel.

Event Details: Date: Last Monday in May the 25th, Line up time: 9:15 AM, Starting time: 10:00 AM, Location: Oconto City Hall, Theme: Happy Birthday America 250 years, come and Honor Our Heroes, show your appreciation for those who have served and sacrificed for our freedom. Join fellow citizens and businesses in a display of unity and respect, at the Every Green’s Cemetery, Memorial Ceremony afterwards come and enjoy the Oconto County Veterans Memorial Picnic after the parade and ceremony, Enjoy a day filled with activities, music, food and refreshments. To walk in the Parade all are welcome to march, wear red, white, and blue to show your patriotism, and if you have a loved one that never came home please bring their picture draped in red, white and blue and carry them in the parade, you can have a float or anything you like to decorate for the parade. Please spread the Word, share this invitation with friends and family to encourage more participants. To all the people that follow the OCVM, I am looking for a face painter for the kids for Oconto County Veterans Memorial Picnic for May 25, 2026, if you know of anyone, please let me know or have them contact me at 920-373-2479. I am also looking for any stuffed animals that look like new to have people donate them for prizes, we clean them and disinfect them and aging contact me at the number above. Please share this and remember this is so all the veterans from Oconto County will be honored by the people of the Oconto County, this Memorial belongs to the people and the businesses of Oconto County. Just think your son, daughter, mom, dad, and you relatives from years ago you can see their names on there for free and be proud to come and see their names on the wall of honor.
