Happy Fall from Oconto Area Humane Society!

Our shelter is currently full, so we’re running a special on cats this October! 🐱🧡 All cats 6 months and older are just $10 to adopt! If you’ve been thinking about adding a feline friend to your family, now is the perfect time to meet your new best friend. Help us make room for more animals in need of a safe place to land. 🏡

We’re also running low on cat supplies and could really use your help! Our biggest need right now is NON-CLUMPING cat litter, dryer sheets, and cat pate. Any donations are greatly appreciated and make a huge difference for the cats in our care. ❤️

Thank you for always supporting our shelter and the animals who need us. Let’s find these kitties their forever homes this fall! 🍁🐈

UPDATE! Adopter found! Going home today!
We’re looking for someone with a truly special heart to open their home to a senior cat.

Meet Sophie. At 19 years old, Sophie has found himself at the shelter after his owner passed away. We can’t imagine how confusing and heartbreaking this must be for him after spending his life with the person he loved. Sophie is a friendly boy who doesn’t ask for much. He would be perfectly content spending his days curled up somewhere warm and comfy, soaking up love and enjoying the company of his human. ❤️

Imagine being 19 years old and suddenly losing the person and home you’ve known. 💔 Sophie deserves so much more than spending his final days surrounded by the stress of a shelter.

We’re hoping someone will look past his age and see what we see: a precious senior who still has so much love to give. He just needs someone willing to give him a warm bed, a quiet place to rest, and the love and comfort he deserves for whatever time he has left.

Please share Sophie. His forever family could be just one share away.
