We are deeply saddened to learn that we have lost one of our own. Art Abe died yesterday after a long battle with illness. Art's kind and gentle spirit was evident to all who patrolled with him and we shall miss him greatly. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family during this difficult time. We will post any funeral details when we receive further information.

The Highlands of Olympia Ski Patrol has unfortunately disbanded due to the sell and closure of our hill. We have attached an article from The Lake Country Reporter for more details.
All active patrollers who wish to remain current with their skills should make sure they attend an OEC refresher and look to join another local area patrol such as Little Switz.
We would like to thank all our patrollers for your many years of service and to all those who helped support our humble hill.

The Highlands of Olympia ski patrol would like to congratulate Stephanie Schimel for coming so close to being in the American Idol top 20 tonight. You sang beautifully Stephanie and if those misguided judges ever find themselves at our ski hill, they might find their lift tickets pulled by ski patrol

Attention all Olympia Ski Patrollers - We will be conducting our chairlift evacuation refresher on Wednesday
December 19th, starting at 6:30pm. Attendance is mandatory. The
refresher will be conducted regardless of the weather conditions, and
Casey and Brent may be making snow during that time, so be prepared.
Chair evacs can happen anytime, so be prepared for reality...
