UPDATE... We regret that we have not been able to do our Community Food distribution in over 3 months.. We have heard there are some that thought we had been shut down because of the line up on hwy 411. We have not been shut down, we made sure that we were still within state laws and have done our best to make the give out as safe as possible for those receiving and those who were not receiving yet inconvenienced by the once a month give out. However, it was hard for us to utilize so many volunteers on the highway directing traffic, trying to keep the residential drive ways clear and trying to keep everyone safe, that we started reaching out for an alternative location that could handle the traffic for the give out, a huge parking area had been secured already.
But we need your help .. We currently transport the food by tractor trailer, and with diesel up so high it is hard for us being a small group, to purchase and transport the food... We not only do the Community Food Distribution, we partner with a few local Churches to help them get the food they need for their give outs.
