Alright ladies and gents, this is the weekend we’ve all been waiting for! The Fire is NOT affecting the club or our event in any way. Winds are blowing out of the Southwest keeping everything way north of us! Chance of rain seems much more minimal than anticipated, so it looks like we’re in for a great weekend!

We will be selling tickets at the gate, $25 Adults/$15 kids! We’ve got two killer bands for y’all this year - Aj & Southern Stampede & The Jack Shealy Band, FREE swamp buggy rides, Miccosukee culture and tradition —including their famous fry and pumpkin bread, ALLIGATOR WRESTLING, s***t shoot, archery, BB gun shoot, face painting, wood carvers, lots of fun activities for the kids, lots of new local vendors, tons of raffles, 50/50 cash raffle, dollar raffles, lots of tasty food options, and more! Don’t forget to bring your lounge chairs, coolers packed with all your favorites, and CASH! We’re looking forward to seeing you all out there for a spectacular weekend!

For everyone staying on club grounds this weekend, remember to bring your appetites for Jerry’s famous Spaghetti Dinner Friday night, and a delicious breakfast being served Saturday and Sunday morning.

Skunkape researcher Dave shealy will be at the 76th annual WildHogBBQ Ecsc this Saturday February 28th! Make plans to arrive early and bring a chair and cooler with your favorite beverages! There will be many activities taking pace for the entire family, as well as vendors and some fantastic music. Tickets are 25$ Adults, and 15$ at the gate!
Skunkape Headquarters will have a vending booth where David will be available to answer questions about Florida’s most elusive species. This is a great photo opportunity, and we look forward to seeing everyone there.

World Championship Alligator Wrestlers from South Florida will be at the Wild Hog BBQ again this year— Saturday, February 28th, 2026! Joseph Osceola and Swampman Paul will be putting on an alligator wrestling demonstration that you won’t want to miss! Don’t forget to bring your chairs and coolers! We can’t wait to see you all out there!

The Everglades Conservation & Sportsmen Club is out at the 77th Annual Homestead Rodeo tonight, and all weekend! We have a booth set up and are selling presale tickets & tons of raffles for our 76th Annual Wild Hog BBQ on Saturday, February 28, 2026 in The Big Cypress! Come on out and support us, or stop by our booth for a good old fashioned swamp story!

We’d like to introduce you to one of our very special repeat vendors at the Wild Hog BBQ for several years in row! Kristen with Rustic Jade Design’s has been in business since 2015, but has been crafting and creating art since she was a little girl. She does leather work, woodworking, sewing, epoxy work, murals, clothing, hats & Accessories, jewelry, home decor, gemstones, and even has her work displayed for sale at Wildman’s Pizzas shop in Everglades City! You won’t want to miss her booth at this year’s event!
