Oceanside Firefighters Charity Fund Providing the community we serve with charitable efforts that enhance life safety education, support outreach, and help those in need.

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

- Establish relationships with civic organizations, businesses, and other groups within the city, county and state to create opportunity for partnerships.

• Attract and prioritize opportunities for civic engagement and establish the fiscal and volunteer effort needed to meet those engagements.

• Attend community events and champion the causes endorsed through both the Ocean

side Firefighters Association and Charity Fund.

• Advise and assist the Community Chair on fundraisers, outreach, and education and collaborate in establishing the annual calendar of events. OUTREACH STRATEGY

- Explore opportunities and establish financial avenues that will assist to increase education and outreach opportunities.

• Engage with youth related programs to create opportunities to increase safety related education and bolster direct learning opportunities.

• Establish a platform for seniors to receive assistance with life safety information, services, and education.

• Create avenues to reach out to those who have difficulty receiving life safety education because of language barriers or physical, social or economical barriers.
