Ever wanted to print with sunlight?

Large Print Cyanotype Making with Eliette Singleton is back, and this time you’re going BIG. Like “this print needs its own wall” big!!

Cyanotype is one of the most magical processes out there: equal parts science and sun powered sorcery. You’ll be shocked at what unfolds right in front of you.

Eliette is an absolute expert at this craft, blending her love of marine biology & the ocean right into every print. Get ready to soak up some seriously fun facts about the sea while you work (she makes it impossible not to have a good time), plus test exposures, toning techniques, and finally your own archival quality, gallery worthy print to take home.

Bring your own negatives or found objects to experiment with, or use the selection we’ll have on hand. Either way you’re leaving with a piece of art, a head full of Cyanotype knowledge, & probably a new obsession.

Sat 9/5, 1 to 3pm.
Limited spots.

Save The Waves Film Festival is back.

What do we do to protect our surf breaks? This Saturday, August 29, we’re bringing STWFF26’ to Dear Tomorrow, for another night of art, film, food, drinks, & folks that care about surf culture and the ecosystem that it exists in.

The world’s only international surf and environmental film festival, Save The Waves is a global touring event that brings powerful stories of surfing, adventure, conservation, and our relationship to the sea to communities around the world, while supporting efforts to protect surf ecosystems.

For their Oceanside stop, the house will come alive with a market of ocean-inspired art, food and drinks, and an evening of films inside. Throughout the night, we’ll be raffling off a Carver skateboard, a Sun Bum summer kit, Dear Tomorrow, classes, & more.

Come wander the market, grab something to eat, meet local artists, catch the films, and celebrate the ocean with us.
