First I'd like to introduce you to the two creators and current admins of this page, myself Amy Davis and Amanda Wilson. Amanda and I would like to give you a little info about ourselves so you can get to know us so I'll go first. I am 22 years old and originally from a small town in Wisconsin and am currently stationed at Camp Pendleton with my husband Chad and our two dogs Sookie (Boxer) and Nib
bler (Affenpinscher) who we adore. My husband and I have been together for 3 years and have been happily married for almost a year and a half now and he has been on one deployment to Afghanistan and I feel so lucky that it's only been one. I love drawing, comedy, horror movies, I'm a huge dog person and my biggest passion is snowboarding that I have been doing for 15 years and was an instructor of. So that's a little about me now here's Amanda's info. Now let's get to the description of the page, our mission is very similar to many other Marine s/o support pages but we are going to strive to be different and very successful and avoid drama at all costs. Like all support pages Amanda and I are here for support about any issue Marine Corps related or not, I really enjoy helping and giving advice to others and I am not a judgemental person at all so feel free to come to me or Amanda for impartial support or advice about anything. Also another one of our missions that Amanda and I thought would set us apart from other pages is that we are going to put focus on giving out information and giving tips pertaining to Marine Corps things like tricare, BAH, base life, restationing, EASing etc. so if anyone has any questions or needs help with those things (I know I have from time to time) feel free to ask. Like our name says this is for those who have mature Marine love which means we will not allow any immature or rude behavior on this page and that behavior includes criticizing others, hurtful/rude comments, one-upping, and just basically acting like a 15 year old girl in highschool. And remember there's a difference between giving your opinion and a criticizing opinion! Of course like all support pages girls will be asking for advice so when you give some please be respectful of the girl asking for it, too often on pages I see people giving 'advice' and instead are degrading and criticizing the girl. Amanda and I wanted to create a page that is truly there to support women in our position while providing a page with intelligent mature admins who are knowledgable about the Marine Corps life.
