Join us! The ALS Association is hosting the California coalition lobby day on Wednesday, May 8th at the State Capitol in Sacramento to advocate in support of our priority bills, including AB 2180. Please email [email protected] for details on this exciting event!

In California, we are cosponsoring AB 2180 by Asm. Akilah Weber (D–La Mesa) to ensure that third-party funding from patient copay assistance program (PAPs) – designed to help eligible patients with a chronic or terminal condition afford their vital medications – actually counts towards the patient’s health insurance cost-sharing obligation (e.g., deductible, copay, coinsurance annual out-of-pocket maximum).
