Some songs are written from a place of celebration. Others are born in the middle of grief.

Still Thank You in the Tears is one of those songs.

This music video is more than a performance, it’s a reflection of a journey our family has walked and a reminder that even in our deepest sorrow, God’s faithfulness never leaves us. He is worthy of our praise in every season.

Thank you for walking this journey with us. Here’s a first look at the official music video.

Rev. Elder Suitonu Galea’i and his wife, Tinei Galea’i, are prominent historical figures in the Samoan American community, best known for establishing the First Samoan Congregational Christian Church of San Diego (FSCCCSD).

Legacy and Historical Impact

* Founding a Community Pillar: In 1955, Elder Rev. Suitonu Galea’i, alongside his family and military chaplains, founded the church to serve Samoan military personnel and local families stationed in the United States.

* The First Service: The congregation’s historic first service was held inside a Naval Chapel on January 23, 1955.

* Building a Sanctuary: As the community grew rapidly under their guidance, they broke ground and dedicated their first permanent sanctuary at 3605 National Avenue in 1958, eventually moving to a larger campus on South 45th Street in 1964.

* Cultural Preservation: Beyond religious services, the Galea’is established a vital cultural haven that helped early Samoan immigrants maintain their language, traditions, and community ties in Southern California.
