🚨 SIN IS CROUCHING…

What if the greatest danger in your life isn’t outside your door… but waiting at your heart’s door?

In Genesis 4, God warned Cain:

“Sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you, but you must rule over it.”

Cain ignored the warning—and what began as anger and jealousy eventually led to the death of his own brother.

💭 Sin is subtle.
⚠️ Sin is serious.
✝️ But there is hope.

The answer isn’t simply trying harder to control ourselves. Our hope is found in Jesus Christ, whose blood speaks a better word—grace, forgiveness, and redemption.

🚨 SIN BROKE EVERYTHING… BUT GOD PROMISED HOPE. 🌿✝️

Genesis 3 is not just the story of humanity’s fall.

It is the story of God’s grace breaking through our rebellion. ❤️

Sin brought:
💔 Brokenness
😔 Shame
😨 Fear
⚰️ Death
🚪 Separation from God

But even in the middle of judgment, God was already revealing His plan of redemption. 🙌

Adam and Eve were driven from the garden, but God did not abandon them.

And in Genesis 3:15, God promised that the offspring of the woman would crush the serpent’s head.

That promise ultimately points us to Jesus Christ. ✝️

Jesus came into the world to do what we could never do for ourselves—to bear our sin, take our judgment, defeat death, and reconcile us to God. 🩸➡️✝️➡️🕊️

🔥 The Gospel is this: We are more sinful than we want to admit, but God’s grace is greater than our sin.

The fall was not the end.

THE FALL 🍎

Sin didn’t just change humanity—it separated us from God.

Genesis 3 reminds us how Satan attacks the mind, heart, and will, and how sin brings spiritual, psychological, relational, and physical brokenness.

But the story doesn’t end with the Fall.

God came searching. God provided a covering. God promised a Savior.

The Fall reveals our sin—but the Gospel reveals God’s grace. ✝️

If God came searching for Adam, He still comes searching for sinners today.

⚠️ WHAT IF THE LIE DOESN’T SOUND LIKE A LIE?

Satan’s first question in the Garden was simple:

“Did God really say…?” — Genesis 3:1

The enemy attacks God’s Word and God’s character, making us question what God said and whether He can be trusted.

But when Adam fell, God came looking.

“Where are you?” — Genesis 3:9

And the answer to sin ultimately points to Jesus—who took the cost of our sin upon Himself so we could have life.

Don’t believe the lie. Trust the Word. Follow Christ.

🌌 Does the origin of the universe actually change how you live today? 🤔

Genesis 1 isn't just an ancient history lesson—it's a beautiful, lyrical song that holds the key to our deepest reality. In a powerful message, Rev. Ferdie Raposas breaks down the profound weight of God speaking the world into existence.

🧠 Think about this:

✨ Out of Nothing: God didn't just rearrange existing pieces. He spoke the universe out of absolute nothingness. If His word is that powerful, what can He speak into your life?

🌍 Enjoy, Don't Worship: Creation is inherently good, but it's finite. We are meant to deeply enjoy the physical world without turning it into our god.

✝️ The Cost of Re-Creation: Ever feel a deep "ache" when looking at a beautiful sunset or mountain? That's our soul longing for a connection broken by sin. The Gospel is that Jesus was literally "unmade" on the cross so that you could be beautifully re-created.
