A seven-year old who was hit by a drunk driver six years ago was rushed to Rady Children's Hospital after it was discovered his intestines were blocked following a surgical procedure last week.

Baby Izaiah had emergency surgery tonight for an intestinal blockage. After over 3 hours of surgery, he is now in intensive care. Please keep Izaiah and his parents in your prayers as he has yet again another long recovery ahead of him.

We worked for 2 years to get Izaiah's story told on the Dr. Phil Show and today it happened. They spent all day Sunday filming at Izaiah's house and today we went to the studio in Hollywood to tape the actual interview with Dr. Phil! Both he and his wife, Robin, met with us privately after the show saying how much the story had touched them and that they would help however they could. When we get the air date we will let you know as the show showered Jacob and Lucy with surprises beyond our wildest dreams but you'll have to watch the show to see what happened! We can't thank the show enough for their kindness and generosity. They treated us like royalty!
