Thank you to all involved!

Recently, the Chiefs of the Oceanside Fire Department took the time to thank the Parade Committee, whose members worked tirelessly over the past year to organize and execute the Nassau County Firemen’s Association Parade and America 250 Celebration hosted here in Oceanside.

The Parade Committee consisted of:
• Chief of Department Sean B. Lynch
• 1st Assistant Chief Kevin M. Klein Sr.
• 2nd Assistant Chief Marc R. Sparberg
• 3rd Assistant Chief William H. Sitzman
• Former Chief John Traverso
• Former Chief Patrick Madden
• Commissioner Biagio Rosano
• Former Captain Christina Rahn
• District Supervisor Matthew Martin III

It was an incredible celebration that the entire Oceanside community was able to enjoy. Bringing a firematic parade back to Oceanside for the first time since 2015 was no small undertaking.

The cooperation between the Oceanside Fire District, Oceanside Fire Department, the Parade Committee, our community and so many others made this celebration possible.

We hope the entire Oceanside community will join us in recognizing and thanking these dedicated individuals for their tremendous work.

Mark Your Calendars - Saturday, August 8!

After being postponed due to weather, we're ready to celebrate!

Join us for the Nassau County Firefighters Association Parade & America's 250th Celebration.

Festivities begin at 2:00 PM at Fireman's Field (88 Mott St.), featuring:
• Live Music
• Food & Drinks
• Vendors
• Kids' Corner
• Fireworks

The Nassau County Firefighters Association Parade steps off at approximately 5:30 PM.

Parade Route:
• Starting at Long Beach Road & Weidner Avenue (Burger King)
• South on Long Beach Road
• East onto Mott Street
• Ends at Fireman's Field

Today’s parade has been postponed to 8/8!

Due to the forecasted weather and in the interest of everyone's safety, the Nassau County Firefighters Parade and America 250 Celebration scheduled for tomorrow has been postponed.

A new date will be announced in the future. We will communicate all updated details with the community as soon as they become available.

Thank you for your understanding. We look forward to celebrating with everyone soon.
