re and who you are supporting! The key aspects of nonprofits are accountability, trustworthiness, honesty, and openness to every person who has invested time, money, and faith into the organization. Nonprofit organizations are accountable to the donors, founders, volunteers, program recipients, and the public community. Public confidence is a factor in the amount of money that a nonprofit organization is able to raise. The more nonprofits focus on their mission, the more public confidence they will have, and as a result, more money for the organization. The activities a nonprofit is partaking in can help build the public's confidence in nonprofits, as well as how ethical the standards and practices are. I just want to say thank you for all of your prayers, texts, messages, and who have donated… Means a lot.

I’m posting today because I need your help in a big way and my time is running out. My family and I are faced with our biggest battle yet. I’ve been diagnosed with Stage IV Pancreatic cancer. Western Medicine is giving me 6-12 months to live with a 1% chance. I will be seeking treatment outside the country but the cost is all out of pocket and the cost is $300,000.

I’m thinking if I can get 300 of my friends and family to try and raise $1000 each then we should be able to reach our goal. That’s why I’m reaching out to all of you personally as a father and a husband in desperate need with the hope that we can come together as an Army to help me beat this relentless disease from taking my life! Thank you for being my friend and thank you for your support! Please continue to pray for a miracle 🙏🏼

Here is the gofundme link if you would like to share my story. 🙌🏼

According to the American Cancer Society, pancreatic cancer is the 3rd leading cause of cancer-related death in the United States surpassing breast cancer. In 2023 an estimated 64,050 Americans will be diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in the U.S., and more than 50,550 will die from the disease. Pancreatic cancer has the highest mortality rate of all major cancers. 90% of pancreatic cancer patients will die within five years of diagnosis – the majority of patients are diagnosed at a distant stage, for which the 5-year survival is only 3%.

Today we remember those who have given their lives in service to our great country.

Without their sacrifice we would not be able to enjoy our freedoms as Americans. 🙌🏼

Memorial Day is a time to mourn and honor those brave warriors who made the ultimate sacrifice in order to protect our great nation and defend our freedoms, both on our own soil and abroad.

We're grateful for the time we had with them--our family, our friends, and our fellow Americans. We miss them dearly. As we continue on, may we live in such a way that honors their memory and sacrifice. -ACF

- Brain Tumor / Cancer Awareness Month. We would like to show our SUPPORT for those in the FIGHT, for those who SURVIVED, or to HONOR a loved one LOST to Brain Cancer! -ACF

Most brain tumors are not linked with any known risk factors and have no obvious cause. But there are a few factors that can raise the risk of brain tumors. The best known environmental risk factor for brain tumors is radiation exposure, most often from radiation therapy to treat some other condition.

WARNING SIGNS / SYMPTOMS

• Headaches
• Nausea and vomiting
• Changes in speech, vision, or hearing
• Problems balancing or walking
• Changes in mood, personality, or ability to concentrate
• Problems with memory
• Muscle jerking or twitching (seizures or convulsions)
• Weakness of some facial muscles
• Numbness or tingling in the arms or legs

Certain signs and symptoms could suggest that a person might have brain cancer. But tests are needed to confirm this. At this time, there is no sure way to prevent brain cancer! Early detection, age, type of tumor, and its location could determine the patients survival rate… If you are experiencing any of the above symptoms, the best way to find it early is to report any possible signs or symptoms to your doctor right away!

Today, we HONOR all Veterans! Thank you to the brave men and women who have served and continue to serve to protect our safety and defend our freedoms. Thank you for your tireless efforts, service, and dedication.

There is no way we can ever repay the sacrifices made by these heroes and their families, but today we honor them and let them know their commitment is noticed and appreciated. Thank you for your service and dedication to us all. -ACF 🇺🇸

A Veteran is someone who at one point in his or her life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America" for an amount of "up to, and including his or her life."

Today, we remember and honor those taken from us due to the terrorist attacks on our Nation September 11, 2001. Unfortunately, there are many First Responders that are still dealing with the aftereffects from that day.

We want all our HEROES to know that you are the core of our mission and we are here for you in every way possible. -ACF

It can take years, even decades, for cancers to develop. Studies show that 9/11 first responders have an elevated risk of certain cancers, including a roughly 25% increased risk of prostate cancer, a doubling in the risk of thyroid cancer and a 41% increase in leukemia compared to the general population.
