Every Thursday in Vista, something simple happens.

People take a shower. They catch up with friends. Volunteers meet neighbors they may have never known otherwise.

It’s a place where people experiencing homelessness can find dignity, but it’s also a place where anyone can find connection.

In this video, Jay shares what this space has meant to him. His story is a reminder that hygiene is important, but so is having a place where you’re welcomed, known, and seen.

We don’t have all the answers. We’re simply trying to create a space where people can belong, where relationships come first, and where everyone has something to give.

Every Wednesday from 7:30 AM–10:30 AM, our community comes together to create a space of dignity, connection, and care for our neighbors. Whether you can help clean showers, welcome guests, or simply be present, there’s a place for you.
forever_angelica is there every week and can help you find a way to get involved. Bring supplies or any donations if you’d like.

Many of you know Major.

After years of experiencing homelessness, he’s been off the streets for nearly two years. An electric bike helped him get to appointments, volunteer, stay connected, and continue moving forward.

Recently, that bike was stolen.

If you have an electric bike you’d be willing to donate, or would like to help us purchase a replacement, it would make a huge difference.

Transformation is possible, when people are seen, supported, and given opportunity, they don’t just rebuild their lives, they begin to help rebuild others.

Gabriel once came to Humanity Showers as a guest, having battled homelessness and addiction for over four years. Today, he is housed, a proud father of two beautiful children. Gabriel now helps run one of our shower trailers, offering care, hygiene, and dignity to others.

At Humanity Showers, our hope has always been simple. Create a space where people from all walks of life can come together and uplift one another. No one above another. No one beneath another. Just people.

Dignity is not only about being seen. It’s about showing up and doing something for one another.
