Kids and cows at fair!! Our amazing dairy project members all showed their dairy heifers at the San Diego County Fair this year as first timers. Everyone worked hard, had fun, and made memories. It was exhausting, but so rewarding. The kids chatted with the public, giving them all the knowledge about dairy cows and even helped with the milking demos. A huge thank you to Hollandia Dairy for being the most amazing sponsor, supporting our club and providing these kids with such an unforgettable project experience.

Master Showmanship! Two of our members won their breed showmanship, so they continued on to Master Showmanship. Neither of these young ladies has ever shown anything other than dairy cattle, doesn’t have easy access to practice with other animals, only had one crash course with how to show the other animals, and they did an amazing job! We couldn’t be more proud to have the represent our club! Great job Maggie & Eloise! 🐄
