This Saturday is the day !! Come on out !

Saturday, August 8!

After being postponed due to weather, the Nassau County Firefighters Association Parade & America’s 250th Celebration is back!

We are grateful to Supervisor John Ferretti and Councilwoman Laura Ryder for helping secure 70’s Rock Parade, a tribute band to the greatest hits of 70’s Rock & Roll.

Festivities begin at 2:00 PM at Fireman’s Field (88 Mott Street) featuring:
• Food & drinks
• Vendors
• Kids’ Corner

The Nassau County Firefighters Association Parade steps off at approximately 5:30 PM.
Parade Route:
Starting at Long Beach Road & Weidner Avenue (Burger King)
• South on Long Beach Road
• East onto Mott Street
• Ending at Fireman’s Field

The celebration continues at 8:00 PM with the 70’s Rock Parade concert followed by a spectacular fireworks show on Fireman’s Field!

Flags are going up across our community!

Today, employees of the Oceanside NY Fire DepartmentOceanside Fire District made their way through the streets of 11572 proudly hanging American flags in preparation for the upcoming Nassau County Firefighters Parade and America 250 Celebration on July 18.

This collaborative effort between our Flag Committee and the Oceanside Community Warriors reflects the patriotism of our community.
