Knit Wit Purpose

Knit Wit Purpose Knitting scarves anonymously for the community in need. Beginners to advanced. All are welcome. Here's how we'll do it. Just start knitting away. Repeat.

Knitting (Crocheting or whatever you like) With The Purpose: of giving it to a person in need. You can be ANY LEVEL and this is a great way to use up those half balls of yarn.
1. Do this whenever you need to keep busy. Scarves can be fun, silly, bright, boring... anything goes.
2. We'll pick a few dates over the winter months to get together and we will put a little card on each scarf that reads,

something like: "Please accept this scarf as a warm hug from an anonymous friend for you or for someone in need."
3. We get together and we can either tie the scarves along a fence, bring them to a shelter or church or find other places that would be helpful.
4. We relax after somewhere and have a cocktail.
5. Please invite your friends to join this page and get involved... who knows... maybe the warm hugs will spread and reach all areas. Ok... get knitting and share the page. Our first giveaway will be in November.
