A heartfelt thank you to Congressman Chris Smith for his instrumental role in securing a $400,000 federal grant for the Achieve Academy for Adults with Autism. This vital funding will greatly enhance our ability to address the pressing need for services and educational opportunities for adults with Autism after they age out of public school services at 21. The Board would like to extend our deepest gratitude for your unwavering support and advocacy for this crucial cause.

This morning, the MOFFC Board to celebrated the completion of the Achieve Academy for Adults with Autism, a continuing education program for adults with autism. Finding high-quality continuing education programs can be challenging for individuals and their families once students graduate from high school.

Located on the Brookdale Community College Campus in Wall Township, this daily program will offer job training, coaching, employment placement in local businesses and organizations, and more.

Today represents more than just a milestone; it marks the fruition of a vision over a decade in the making. The entire MOFFC Board, are deeply moved by the support and assistance we've received from our esteemed partners, especially Brookdale Community College and Fran and Paul Turner, whose generosity has made this dream a reality.

We extend our gratitude to Clerk Christine Hanlon, Commissioner Sue Kiley, Ross Licitra, Erik Anderson, and the many friends and colleagues who joined us today to celebrate this special occasion.

A big you to our talented project architect, Spiezle Group, and our dedicated professionals and tradesmen for their unwavering commitment. Our excitement continues to grow as this project unfolds, and eagerly anticipate the grand opening coming soon!

We had an incredible turnout tonight at the 3rd Annual Joe Shimko Foundation Fundraiser. This year's event supported several organizations, including the MOFFC's Achieve Academy for Adults with Autism. The board members of MOFFC are deeply grateful to Joe and the entire Shimko family for organizing such a fantastic event. We're also very thankful to everyone who donated to the Achieve Academy. I am thrilled to announce that our grand opening ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place next week!

A very special thank you goes to Monmouth County Clerk Christine Hanlon, Commissioners Sue Kiley, Nick DiRocco, and Ross Licitra, and our state and local elected officials for their support tonight!
