It was a busy day with lots of good people in the shop.

Michael completed a set of custom A-Frame shelves and the welding team ( Johnathan, Josef and Johnny) worked on more raised planters. Next week we are going to build our Santa Maria grill prototype.

Our welding team is now building rustic metal planters. They are for sale with the money going to the young people and the nonprofit. We can make them any size you want. The ones pictured are 47” x 20” x 24” $500 for the pair. Come by and take a look. We are open 4-6:30 M-F and 9-5 on Saturday.

It was a great day yesterday at the shop. As mentioned before, Jacob got his tractor started, we welcomed new young people, a lot of work done, and we had a good lunch. Also, the knowledge of our mentors is incredible. At one point we had about a 150 years of combined mechanical experience in the house.

Jacob had a major milestone by getting his tractor to start. He has spent an untold number of hours completely rebuilding this tractor. Midstate fair here he comes!

Tonight I updated my phone with every person I’ve talked to about Their Place on PCH since we opened — 51 conversations with people who helped build this place. Looking around the shop, it’s clear this isn’t just “Theirs,” it belongs to the community also.

We’re now working with 11 young people, supported by 5 mentors, and the projects keep growing. Our ideas are growing too, and to keep expanding these programs, we need renewed support from the community that made all of this possible. We need support to build the next part of Their Place, so the young people who come here can keep learning, making, and finding their way.

One week to get our social media in line. Need professional volunteers!

Hello,

We are being blessed to be mentioned in Car and Driver in a week. With this exposure, we hope to gain many followers and expand our donations and seek revenue from live streaming.

We are in need of professional volunteers to get our social media in line quickly. We will need to work on our Website, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and Twitch all by next weekend.
