🐾 Help Us Keep Seniors and Their Pets Together 🐾

Our friends at CHEER Delaware need help replenishing their pet food pantry.

Unfortunately, they recently learned that a grant they were counting on to purchase pet food was not funded due to overwhelming demand. More than 60% of grant applicants were turned away, leaving many organizations without this vital support.

At CHEER, they do everything they can to provide pet food to Meals on Wheels clients who are struggling to feed their beloved companions. It's a heartbreaking reality that many seniors will go hungry before they let their pet go without food. They want the nutritious meals that are delivered to nourish the seniors—not be shared because they're worried about their pets.

You can help!

🐶🐱 Donate pet food at any CHEER senior center in the area, or make an in-kind monetary donation designated for "Pet Food." Every donation helps ensure that seniors don't have to choose between feeding themselves and feeding the pets they love.

Together, we can keep both our seniors and their faithful companions healthy, happy, and together. ❤️

On Memorial Day, we remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation. As we gather with family and community, we reflect on the freedoms we share and the responsibility we have to care for one another. We honor their legacy through service, kindness, and unity.

Due to a water leak the floor in this bathroom was falling into the crawlspace making it unusable. We removed everything, including the rotting floor. Then put in a new subfloor, new flooring, toilet, and vanity and hooked everything back up.
