Self care is on my mind. It’s the least of our worries when stressed. So let’s show some love with some self care products like much needed bar and soft soaps & toothpaste, maybe some moisturizer.
We could also use boxed rotelle pasta(the corkscrew spiral kind) , pasta sauces, dry pinto beans, and children’s cereals.

Unpredictable weather influences some families incomes. If someone has an hourly wage outdoor job and work gets cancelled they loose that income. This is tough to budget for. There are so many factors that can threaten food security for many people.
The folks we serve are so grateful for your help in these challenging times. We cheered for one father that comes in because he starts a new job next week! Guess we won’t see much of him! Your continued support is so important! Shout outs this week to Beth, Dan, & Ken as well as Clean Lines Landscaping & Lawn Care and Butterwood Farms

“Grace before meals makes the feast taste sweeter” is an old saying for sure. It is true gratitude makes life better all around.
We are indeed grateful!
We had ample food to feed those in our community with varying levels of food insecurity. One of the children brought us artwork! Hope you enjoy it!
As for needs: boxed ziti and rotelle, pasta sauce, canned peaches, pears, corn, and beets and we are totally out of ketchup

This hot humid weather has put a tiny damper on our donations, but we are holding on! Please stay safe and hydrate well in this crazy weather!

We have fresh produce again from the Wesley United Methodist Church’s garden! So special! 🍅 ♥️ 🫛
Our shopping needs this week include condiments that go with hotdogs & hamburgers! Ketchup, mustard, relish and let’s add mayo to the list. The canned beets and peas you’ve sent are very popular, more would be great! Spaghetti sauce & children’s cereals, canned chick peas & spam are low or gone. Small canned ham and canned chicken are also low.
Things we DON’T need right now because we have enough: Cheerios, other canned vegetables, peanut butter and grape jelly, kraft style Mac-n-Cheese.
We remain humbled by the generosity of our volunteers & community.

Extending a thank you to all the unseen folks that put food on our shelves so we can help others put food on their tables. We did get a donation of hot dogs & buns so they ate the menu!
Our needs this week include ketchup(I hear Lidl has the best) mustard, relish, cooking oil, and canned chicken, spam and grocery store gift cards so we can buy meat.
Children’s cereals are super popular all the time. With kids out of school we are going thru more sandwich bread, but our PB& J supply is good. We could use kid snacks, like cookies and fruit bars.
As always, thank you!

Remember we have a drop off box that’s checked frequently, right outside if you want to drop off instead of using a delivery service.

Grateful for so much! We have had a gentleman-Fred, here doing the heavy lifting from deliveries and helping shelve. Very appreciated! Also grateful that our friend Tom brought beautiful fresh garden vegetables from the Wesley United Methodist Church parishioners! The produce is a big hit! Bonnie stopped by with a wonderful donation hoard! We are so blessed! Many thanks also to Butterwood Farms for their continued support.

Our primary volunteers are, how shall I delicately say this .. our bones have seen better days?….. are not Autumn ducks but not Spring chickens either?!!
Moving heavy items is taxing and we were thinking a cart would be great. Where we didn’t have to bend down every time, or carry 2 jars at a time across the room. If anyone has anything like any of these carts, it would really help! I will add one to our wish list just incase. We only need one.

So grateful for the recent rains! Because of the better weather we have been able to offer some fresh produce from you to our clients! Yes, mostly zucchini & cucumbers-but they were joyfully received!

Our shelves look pretty good but I will add a list and update the Amazon & Walmart Wishlists.

Pastor Melissa brought us some Dietz & Watson Hotdogs with matching buns- and everyone took some happily! Picnic time!

We walk in every Tuesday to a tableful of anonymous donations, and we are all very appreciative!

Believe it or not we need some canned goods! Beets🫜, Peas🫛, Spinach, Corn🌽
Crushed Tomatoes 🍅, Tomato Sauce, Pinto Beans 🫘 Chickpeas(garbanzo), kidney 🫘

While Barilla Ziti are only $0.99 at ShopRite, we could really use some! Specifically Ziti. Not sure why but it’s the most popular.
