386 cats fixed so far in 2026… and 98 of those were just in May! 🐾❤️

Every single surgery makes a difference. Because of the support from our amazing community, we are helping reduce the overpopulation one cat at a time. None of this would be possible without the donations, volunteers, transporters, fosters, and supporters who continue to stand behind FFC and our mission.

Thank you for believing in what we do and helping us continue to make an impact in Jackson County. It truly takes a village, and we are so grateful for every person who helps along the way.

One surgery at a time… we are making a difference together

With so many new followers lately, we wanted to take a minute to explain who FFC is and what we do. ❤️🐾

FFC is a nonprofit made up entirely of volunteers who love animals and want to help stop the suffering and overpopulation of cats in Jackson County. Our main goal is to help residents get outside/community cats fixed and vaccinated so fewer kittens are born into unsafe situations.

We are NOT a rescue and do not have a facility to take in cats. We are simply a group of volunteers doing the best we can with the resources we have. While we do try to help friendly cats and kittens find homes when possible, the sad reality is there are just far too many cats and not enough space, fosters, or funding.

We also do not have a vet on call, cannot provide medical advice, and unfortunately cannot take on expensive medical cases for sick or injured cats. We wish we could help every single one, but we have to stay focused on our mission of prevention through spay/neuter and vaccines.

Everything we do is funded by donations and supported by the community. We truly could not do this without all of you — the people who donate, transport, foster, trap, share posts, and care enough to help make a difference.

Thank you for supporting FFC and helping us continue this important work. 🐱❤️

As we closed out the year, we just want to say thank you.
Thank you to every volunteer, donor, foster, feeder, trapper, transporter, and supporter who made our work possible. Because of this community, cats were fixed, suffering was prevented, and lives were changed.
This year, our small nonprofit completed 582 surgeries — 337 females and 245 males. That number may seem small to some, but to our all-volunteer, donation-based group, it is huge. Every single one represents fewer kittens born into hardship and a better future for our community cats.
We couldn’t do this without you. As we head into the new year, we hope to do even more.
Here’s to another year of showing up, helping where we can, and doing what’s best for the cats. 🧡🐾

We are so honored to have been chosen as a recipient of a donation from this incredible fundraiser! Your generosity and support mean the world to us and help us continue our mission. 💕

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this possible — the organizers, donors, and everyone who showed up to support. Your kindness truly makes a difference!

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for believing in what we do. 💖

Great news: The 2025 Witches Ride of Ocean Springs raised over $22,500 for 6 local animal welfare agencies! This year we are splitting the fundraising between: Feral Feline Coalition-FFC MS , Friends of Jackson County Animal Shelter pets, Jackson County Animal Shelter Gautier, MS, Wild at Heart Rescue, Tired Dog Rescue and Spay Neuter Impact Project! We're so thankful to each of them, and all of the nominees, for all that they do for our local animals in need! We'll be contacting them this week to award the checks!
Thank you to every witch who came to take part, to every sponsor who helped us organize this event, every volunteer who helped us run the event, each person who donated, and to every spectator who came to see all of our hard work come to fruition. You all truly make the magic real for our local animals!

📣 ATTENTION TNR CLIENTS 📣

Beginning Tuesday 10/14/25, we are temporarily decreasing our daily feral cat limit from 3 down to 2 per person per day. All other feral policies remain the same and can be reviewed on the FAQ page of our website, snipms.com.

As soon as we are able to accomodate 3 per day again, we will let you know!

Thank you so much for your support and the very important work you are doing in the community! We couldn’t make the difference we are trying to make without you!!!

📢 Important Reminder & Group Update from FFC

Hi everyone,

We want to take a moment to remind everyone of what this group is about and share an important update.

🐾 FFC is a nonprofit TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) group serving Jackson County, MS. Our mission is to assist with the cost of spay/neuter, vaccines, and ear-tipping for community cats. We focus solely on TNR efforts to help manage and care for stray and feral cat populations.

🚫 Please remember: We are not a rescue or veterinary clinic, and we cannot give medical advice. If a cat needs urgent medical attention or rescue, we recommend contacting a local vet or animal rescue organization.

📣 Group Chat Update:
Due to the high volume of activity and the number of members in the group, we are temporarily suspending group chats. As much as we'd love to respond to everyone individually, we simply don’t have enough admins to keep up with the messages.

If you need help or want to organize support for a cat situation, please make a public post in the group instead. You'll often get more visibility and a better chance of finding someone who can step in to help or fundraise.

🙏 We deeply appreciate all the kindness, time, and effort this group puts into caring for our stray and community cats. You’re making a real difference.

With gratitude,
FFC
