The Beach
There's just something about the water...
Breathe in the salty air and breath out what's stressing you. We can't think of a better place to let go of a week's worth of troubles and spend some quality time with Jesus Christ. Jesus went to the beach to find His people, and He spent time on the water. The People
A collection of coastal neighbors...
Come as you are...No we mean it. No tie,
no shoes, no problem. Shorts and flip-flops encouraged...Preferred. Outward appearances are not the topic. Like all of us, we just ask that you come as you are on the inside as well. Our team lives, works, and serves in this community. Just normal everyday folks who serve in a local church and happen to really like the beach! We each have our highs and lows and have found God's help to be a huge benefit. Our Roots
We aren't a weird cult, promise...
Church @ Front Beach was dreamed up from a desire to create a unique space where the curious (and the beach lovers) could come "just as we are" and experience stripped down, no frills, raw, genuine worship. We aren't going to sugar coat anything. We know life is hard, because we live it too. In fact, life sometimes sucks. But we know God is faithful to walk with us even when we must go through the low spots in life -- and we want to share that with you. We work from a Wesleyan understanding of God the creating Father, Jesus Christ the redeeming Son, and the Holy Spirit our confidant and power source. We seek to honor God with all we have while we love others like Jesus did...sacrificially. Willing to give this "Jesus thing" another try? Our Message
We will talk about God and us...
Over 2,000 years ago God did something crazy, radical. He stepped down from the glory that was His to have and took on humanity. Jesus Christ became God in human skin. Why would God do that? Why would God step down so low, so far. Because of God's great love for us he chose to break the barrier between himself and people and come to earth to demonstrate this great LOVE! Jesus Christ walked this earth preaching, teaching, healing, feeding, sharing, caring and loving every person he came in contact with. From this love God shows us comes a hope... a refreshment... a reset for our daily lives. We want to tell the story of God and us and how our lives can be better equipped to let go of the storms in our past, weather our present challenges, and look to our tomorrow with great hope.
