The Lord Is My Help is seeking a part-time Assistant Manager to join our team. This role helps support our mission of feeding over 100 people daily through our community kitchen, food pantry, and Meals on Wheels.

We’re looking for someone organized, dependable, community-minded, and comfortable with project coordination, social media, outreach, and hands-on support.

If you didn’t get a chance to purchase our merch before we sold out on Sunday, now is your chance. We have opened up orders for a pre-purchase. Orders will stay open about a week and then we will close them, make another order and ship as soon as production is complete. We anticipate that will be about 3-4 weeks. We’ve even extended our sizes on shirts for adults and youth. Thanks for all the support!

We can't thank everyone enough for the amazing day yesterday at the 12th Annual Feed the Need! Our community came out in full force! We served approximately 1200 plates of fried fish, danced all day to amazing music, and raised more money than ever to help end hunger in our community! We are so proud to call this community home and to have so many neighbors willing to support this cause. Thank you to all our donors, sponsors, volunteers, attendees, and to The Government Street Grocery owners and employees who helped us make this a major success!

We love our neighbors!

Out of love and respect for our fellow small business and the incredible cause behind “Feed the Need,” we’ll be pausing our Crawfish Sunday tomorrow. ❤️🦞

Some things are bigger than business and supporting our community is one of them. We encourage everyone to go out, show up, and be part of something meaningful.

We’ll be back next Sunday with the crawfish, but tomorrow is all about coming together for a greater purpose. 🙏
