On Friday, February 28, 2025, the Ocean Springs Carnival Association will have its annual Ocean Springs Night Parade.

πŸ’œ The parade will roll at 6:00 p.m.
πŸ’› Beginning at 3:00 p.m., Front Beach Drive (from Washington Avenue to Hillandale Avenue) will become one-way westbound so registered floats can begin staging for the parade.
πŸ’š The parade will roll on Front Beach Drive, turn east on Porter Avenue, north on Washington Avenue, then east on Government Street. The parade will end at Government Street and Holcomb Blvd.
πŸ’œ β€œNo Parking After 3:30 am” signs will be placed along the Front Beach and the parade route on the evening of Thursday, February 27 to prepare for the parade.
πŸ’› Public safety officers will line the parade route with barricades on Friday, February 28 at 6:00 a.m.
πŸ’š Roads will close at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Barricades will be placed at the intersections.

Any vehicles remaining in the parade route deemed a hindrance to the parade will be towed immediately. The parade route between Jackson Avenue and Pine Street, along with side streets, will be barricaded. There will be no parking on the city right-of-way on Government Street or Porter Avenue. The barricades will be removed after the parade passes. Anyone who crosses the barricades will be apprehended by the Ocean Springs Police Department.

✨The following streets will be closed:
- Porter Avenue (from the Ocean Springs Yacht Club to Washington Ave.)
- Washington Avenue (from Porter Ave. to Government Street)
- Government Street (from Washington Ave. to Holcomb Blvd.)
- All side streets along the entire parade route.

The parade route will begin on Front Beach Drive, turn east on Porter Avenue, north on Washington Avenue, then east on Government Street. The parade will end at Holcomb Blvd.

We are so excited to announce that our grand marshal for the 15th Annual OS Night Parade is Michael Ramsey!

Michael Ramsey is a Partner at the law firm of Sheehan and Ramsey on Porter Avenue in Ocean Springs.Β  His work includes representing consumers and small businesses in bankruptcy and in litigation against predatory lenders, debt collectors, and credit reporting agencies. He is a graduate of Bay High School (2006), Spring Hill College (2011), and Ole Miss Law (2014).Β  In 2007, Michael joined the Air Force Reserve and currently serves as a Reservist at the 403d Wing at Keesler Air Force Base.Β  He currently holds the rank of Master Sergeant.Β 
Michael is a member of the Ocean Springs Yacht Club, where he currently serves as Commodore. He is married to Christine Ramsey, a member of Krewe of Athena and Krewe of Sirens. Michael and Christine can often be seen downtown, enjoying the food, art, and culture of Ocean Springs. Β 

The OS Night parade will roll on Friday, February 28th at 6:00pm.

The route begins at Front Beach, goes north on Porter Ave., turns left onto Washington Ave., then right onto Government St. The parade ends at the Ocean Springs School District Central Office on Holcomb Ave.
