Aktion Club of South MS Aktion Club inspires adults living with disabilities to play a part in their communities, using their abilities to really make a difference!

Aktion Club provides an opportunity to build leadership & decision-making skills, as well as hold leadership roles in the club. Members experience meaningful community-service activities. They learn by doing. They learn organization, teamwork & leadership. But the most important lesson they learn is that individuals working together can & do make a difference to the world around them.

As The Dream Program Advisor to the Aktion Club I would like to express my deepest appreciation to everyone who supported the Aktion Club in our recent fund raiser. A few Aktion Club members participated in the raffle drawing. We sold raffle tickets at Dreams Basketball games for three baskets generously donated by Robert, Crystal Campbell, and Kayleigh Meredith. The winners at the drawing held last Tuesday were Jada Boyd for The White Pillars Basket, Carlton Baker for the Movie basket, and his fiancée Kaylee Mc Lauren for Woody's basket. I am grateful to all Aktion Club members for the lovely flowers and a gift from Matt, which made me feel very special.

Aktion Club visited the Exceptional School in Pascagoula for their Trunk or Treat. It was a fun time for all.

The Aktion Club had a wonderful time at the trunk or treat event last night. Thank you, Kelsi, for bringing the Kroc Center trunk or treat to our attention. Chrystal, Kayleigh, and Kimberly provided exceptional ideas for decoration and generously donated themed materials. Mr. Billy even participated in the festivities. Kimberly, dressed as Cinderella and her red shoes, won the costume contest. Aktion Club members are eagerly anticipating next year's event.

On September 6, a group of Aktion Club members visited the Ocean Springs Rehabilitation Center to host a bingo event for the residents. This was our September community outing. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
