Our Mayor’s Youth Council had a great leadership development day at HII Ingalls Shipbuilding!!

Ingalls Shipbuilding hosted Mayors’ Youth Councils across the Coast to participate in leadership activities, listen to panels of community leaders, and have open conversations about their next steps in life.

We even had a chance to talk to Senator Jeremy England.

Thank you to Ingalls for investing in the youth of our community and thanks for being a partner to the City of Ocean Springs (Official).

We look forward to more opportunities to learn and grow!

We are proud to host The Lawn on Friday, October 20 from 8:00-11:00 p.m. on the lawn of The Mary C.

Since 6:30 p.m., the City has received approximately 5" of rain. This amount of rain within a short amount of time has caused flash flooding in areas of our city which has impacted the roadways. Crews are currently clearing out drainage basins in attempt to improve the drainage.

Please refrain from driving through flooded roadways until conditions improve.

Thank you for your patience as our Public Works crews work hard to improve these conditions.
