This Memorial Day, we pause to honor the courageous men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. At The J, we hold space for the deep grief their families and communities carry — not just today, but every day.

Our Loss of Husband (Evening) group will not be meeting this month due to scheduling conflicts. Our next meeting will be in June

Most of the time the days leading up to a holiday or special day tend to be filled with so much anticipatory grief. Sometimes the days before can be harder than the actual day. We’re thinking of all of you this weekend who are walking the road of grief where this holiday in particular is hard. There are so many different ways this day can cause pain. You are not alone. You’re seen, valued, understood and loved.
