Since Scribbles became a member of The Horse Prayer team we’ve been in awe of his connections with children. He’s never once balked at a wheelchair or walker, and in fact nuzzles at them.
Recently I reached out to his breeder, and she shared with me that Scribbles was their first ever foal and was shown by her son who has cerebral palsy.
It turns out that what we thought was curiosity with the wheelchairs is actually precious memories from his youth!

Today Scribbles visited the staff and residents at Centralia Point Assisted Living and Memory Care. He was the best boy ever and got to ride in an elevator for the first time!

April 5th - What a wonderful day!!!

April 5, 1996 - Scribbles (Vintage Farms Scribbles) was born!
April 5, 1998 - Daisy (Tahuya Charlotte) was born!
We just can’t say enough about these two horses and the joy they’ve brought to all who know them.

Scribbles is feeling good again and back to what he does best - bringing (and getting) all the love to the staff, residents, and guests at Sharon Care Center in Centralia!
What a terrific place to spend the day!
In honor of Scribble’s upcoming 28th birthday they threw him a birthday party and even sang “happy birthday” to him!

We are long overdue for a Scribbles update!
He is doing wonderfully! And is just as sweet as ever!
Although we have no idea what caused his sudden and scary illness, he seems to have recovered quite well!
Most of his bloodwork is back to normal and we will continue to monitor the markers of concern.
And we promise we will update more frequently!
Thank you to all who have reached out and to those who have donated to help with his medical bills!

He is back to work next weekend at Sharon Care Center visiting the patients and making friends!
