💛 KINDNESS CHALLENGE: ARE YOU IN? 💛

We have a simple challenge for our community today:

Do ONE unexpected kind thing for someone.

☕ Buy someone a coffee.
💬 Give someone an unexpected compliment.
🚪 Hold the door.
📱 Check in on someone you haven’t talked to lately.
🛒 Help a neighbor with a small task.
❤️ Or come up with your own way to brighten someone’s day!

It doesn’t have to cost money. It doesn’t have to be a grand gesture. Sometimes the smallest acts of kindness are the ones people remember most.

Once you’ve completed your mission, come back and comment “DONE!” 👇

Peninsula Poverty Response exists to help reduce the impact of poverty right here on the Long Beach Peninsula. We believe everyone deserves to be treated with dignity, compassion, and respect, and that a strong community is one that looks out for its neighbors.

Through programs like The Hub, Laundry Love, Project Community Connect, and other outreach efforts, we work to provide practical assistance while connecting people with resources that can help them move forward.
