Thank you all those that contributed to the Anchor of Hope Alliance and Ocean Grove Camp Meeting Association winter ministry in Ocean Grove, New Jersey at the Pavilion Praise Ocean Grove on Ocean Grove Beaches and the Ocean Grove Auditorium Pavilion and the Westside Community center near Springwood Park, Asbury Park. We started December 21, and you donated 200+ cans of soup, 150+ items of winter clothing, and 50+ warm blankets. Please bring any cans of food to the St. Paul's Food Pantry OG and clothes to the Jersey Shore Rescue Mission and Thrift Store in Asbury Park. Spring has sprung and summer is coming. Bravo, The Rescue Mission of Trenton!

A Welcome Invitation to Everyone in Our Community! The Mission is opening Pathway 2 Wellness, where you or a loved one can have free access to mental health services in a stigma-free environment. To learn more, we invite you to stop by the Community Room at 505 Perry Street to meet Tashanna Ellis, the Wellness Center Director and Leticia Acevedo, the Wellness Center Manager. In addition to sharing with you more about receiving free access to mental health services, Tashanna and Leticia can tell you more about our Job Readiness Programs, Life Skills Workshops, and Peer to Peer Support, and many other services. “Come as you are. While in search of the best ice cream and BBQ on the east coast, Gwen and Gerry Cleaves witnessed first-hand the destruction caused by the perfect storm of addiction, mental health, homelessness, and incarceration. The storm has only intensified post Covid-19 and represents a 24/7/365 challenge for many. Please prayerfully consider, by Good Friday, donating $1 per day in 2025 to the Anchor of Hope Alliance to support our ministry in these areas.

A SEASON OF GENEROSITY: BY THE NUMBERS

Thanks to the kindness of donors and volunteers, our winter community outreach program distributed:

250 cans of soup, offering warmth and nourishment.

50 blankets to help individuals stay protected from the harsh winter weather.

50 coats to provide essential warmth.

Assorted winter attire, including gloves, scarves, and hats, ensuring people had the layers they needed.

New items were distributed daily not only in Ocean Grove and Asbury Park but also in Paterson, New Jersey, where they were shared at a special community outreach event.

IMPACTING LIVES, SPREADING HOPE

Throughout the season, volunteers braved the cold to ensure that those experiencing hardship received not just supplies, but also encouragement and kindness. Each coat, blanket, and can of soup was more than just an item—it was a symbol of community support and solidarity.

This initiative showed the true power of giving, as people from all walks of life came together to help their neighbors in need.

LOOKING AHEAD

Although winter has passed, the work of The Anchor of Hope Alliance, Ocean Grove Camp Meeting Association, and Market Street Mission – Jersey Shore continues. These organizations remain committed to serving vulnerable populations year-round, ensuring that no one is left behind.

This past winter proved that small acts of kindness create lasting change. As we move forward, let’s carry this spirit of generosity with us—because together, we can make a difference in every season.
