FINAL UPDATE (9/26/26 3:56 p.m.): Philadelphia Avenue has reopened. St. Louis Avenue is still experiencing areas of standing water from this morning's high tide.

UPDATE #3 (9/26/2026 2:56 p.m.): Philadelphia Avenue to the Route 50 bridge has been reopened. S. Philadelphia Avenue south of the Route 50 bridge remains closed. Please limit travel if possible and plan to use alternative routes if necessary.

TRAVEL ADVISORY: Due to standing water and current road conditions, S. Philadelphia Avenue south of the Route 50 bridge is currently closed.

Flooding from this morning’s high tide is expected to take several hours to recede. Residents living in the affected area will be permitted access.

Please use caution and limit travel in the area whenever possible. Never drive through standing water if you cannot determine the depth or condition of the roadway.

Please allow extra travel time and follow posted closures and directions from public safety personnel.

We’re saddened that Oceans Calling Festival is canceled due to the impacts of the weather. We know many visitors were looking forward to the festival.
If you’re in town, there is still so much to do! Our local businesses are ready to welcome you, so come out, explore, shop, dine and enjoy all that Ocean City has to offer.
And this weekend only, enjoy FREE parking throughout town! (September 25-27) Our staff are working to open up parking lots

The National Weather Service is reporting a stronger and more updated westward track of the Nor’easter storm system. Tides, floods, and high winds have prevented us from safely continuing the build of Oceans Calling Festival.

Following the advice of the National Weather Service and in cooperation with local public officials, we must make the difficult decision to cancel Oceans Calling 2026.

All ticket types purchased directly through Front Gate Tickets will be fully and automatically refunded in as little as 30 days to the original method of payment.

Thank you to the Oceans Calling fans. We know how far you have travelled, and the time and energy you have put into being here. If you are in town already and staying through the weekend; please enjoy Ocean City and be safe.
