Ocean City tried to be the FIRST city in NJ to eliminate single use plastic bags a number of years ago.
The Regional Chamber of Commerce had that idea stopped by bringing in the National Chemical Association to convince city Council that plastic bags were ok. Now, look at all the towns advancing their environmental efforts beyond us.
